The firm’s shipping practice deals with all matters relating to the registration and transfer of ships under the Cyprus flag, the incorporation of ship-owning companies, and the registration of securities. The firm also deals with lease financing transactions, shipbuilding contracts and chartering.

The firm has for a few years been involved in the sale and leaseback of six LNG carriers in a deal worth close to two billion US$. It is the firm’s driver of its shipping practice due to the high exposure to leasing/security documentation and it is run alongside its finance practice.
